Review: I recently had the clutch fail on my Hart 1/2″ brushless drill. This drill has seen only occasional light duty use over the last year of ownership. I purchased it a part of the drill/driver combo offering. If cost is a big factor in whether to go for a top of the line drill eg. Millwaukee or save a few $ I would suggest going to ‘H.F’. and purchasing their ~$25 cordless drill. It’s performance is on par with the Hart and when the battery finally fails you can purchase a whole new drill for 1/3 of the price of the Hart. I really was hoping that the Hart line would have filled the gap between the cheapest offerings and the premium brands but, that does not appear to be the case. I did post a review of the Hart drill/driver shortly after purchase and use. I gave both much higher reviews initially as they have the ‘feel’ of a quality product line and both tools seemed to perform quite well but, for only for a few uses.
